The Last Year 2 Assembly In 2015Last Friday we had the last year 2 assembly in 2015 and it was Cultural day too! First we practiced because if we didn't practice we won't know when to go on stage or to do anything at the assembly and that would be in embarrassing for the year two's. The assembly was loud as a circus.The First thing we did at assembly was the New Zealand song. After that, we herd the Kapa Haka. Next we saw the Chinese Fan dance the Chinese Fan dance was as pretty as a star. Next we saw a Indian dance that was called JaiHo the song JaiHo made me have tears in my eyes and JaiHo is a Columian and Indian dance and song. The All Blacks Played
On Sunday morning the All Blacks versed France the All Blacks won the mach in England. The All Blacks score 62 and the Frances score was 13. Richie got punched in the face and someone got a ice pack, and I put a frown on my face but we won! I wish I can play rugby when I'm older because kicking balls around looks a-w-e-s-o-m-e, and winning for New Zealand!

The Production
Arghhh! On Tuesday we went
to the year 6 production! The production was called THE PIRATES OF THE CURRY BEAN. The boy and girl found a treasure map that could lead them to the treasure but their mum did not let them find the treasure then the pirates came to their home and the pirate said I am pirate red beard mum said you have a pink beard said the pirate. At night the pirates came again and tried to take thetreasure map in the safe so they picked up the safe and when to their pirate ship and stole the mum, then put a bag over her head so she could not see where she is going to end up in and the mum ended up in a pirate ship. Then the boy and girl realized that their mum was gone. That was the bit when it got really sad and a little bit of water came out of my eye. Well lots of the production was funny even when the monkeys came on stage and when the pirates were scared of themonkeys! Then, there was a song that was like fireworks! I think that was the best production e-v-e-r!

A butterfly is a insect.Butterflies have three body parts,head,thorax,abdomen and some eyes too.Some butterflies can be many types.Butterflies use a straw to suck flower nectuer so they can get energy to fly.

One day two people were walking along the beach and they spotted a baby seal.The people took a photo of the baby seal on the rocks.They were surprised to see a seal because they are rare in New Zealand. The seal was staring at the people because they were taking a photo of the seal. The people were a girlfriend and a boyfriend. The seal was at Howick beach then it swam to Cockle Bay.
